Today may feel uncomfortable — and that’s okay.
This practice is not about being grateful for pain.
It’s about finding stability within difficulty.
🧠 Why Day 6 Matters
👉 Jump to section
Avoiding difficult moments creates resistance.
Meeting them gently creates resilience.
Gratitude here is about:
- Strength
- Support
- Survival
Not justification.
✅ Today’s Practice (10–15 Minutes)

Step 1: Choose One Difficult Area
Do NOT choose the most painful memory.
Choose something manageable.
Step 2: Write 3 Gratitudes Around It
Examples:
- I got through it
- I learned something
- I had support
- I’m still here
This is enough.
Step 3: Ground Yourself
Place one hand on your body.
Take 3 slow breaths.
🌙 Reflection
- Did resistance arise?
- Did your body relax or tense?
- Did you notice strength you usually ignore?
🌱 Gentle Rule for Day 6
If your mind says:
“This doesn’t deserve gratitude”
Respond with:
“I deserve compassion.”
